TEHRAN -- Prominent director Majid Majidi invites Iranian people except citizens of Tehran to test for his new film “Song of Sparrows”.
This will give residents living in cities other than Tehran an opportunity to act in a film, Majidi told ISNA on Friday.
Men aged 35-50 may visit Majidi for test on April 4 at the Bahman Cultural Center in southern Tehran.
“Song of Sparrows” is due to be shot in spring.
“The Father”, “The Children of Heaven”, “The Color of Paradise”, “Baran”, and “The Weeping Willow” are among Majidi’s credits.
